Amy Adams 'Lives for a Day'
New period piece for the lovely actress
Amy Adams is aboard to star alongside Frances McDormand in Mis Pettigrew Lives for a Day for Focus Features and director Bharat Nalluri.
The period piece is based on Winifred Watson's novel and is set in 1939. Adams will portray an American songbird who befriends a dowdy governess (McDormand) sent to her home by mistake.
The film is already set to begin production this week in the U.K. from a script penned by Simon Beaufoy and David Magee.
