Amazon got started with their 2013 Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals early this year, but the bigger deals are just around the corner, beginning Sunday, November 24 in fact and I've already started collecting some of the best deals that are available now as well as those that will be available throughout the week and when they will be available.

That said, keep visiting, because this article will be updated as more and more deals are made available. I will also be posting daily updates all week with that day's deals, but there are some deals available right now that you may be interested in.

There will be plenty more deals added to the schedule below and I will add additional days as they are announced. For now, here's what you can expect to go on sale as of right now and a link to each at Amazon. As of right now, the midnight deal on the complete "Sex and the City" and "The Wire" might be worth checking out since both are already offered at a 50+% discount before the deal even goes live.

Once the time comes, click fast and get in on the deals.

NOTE: I'd like to thank you in advance for purchasing any of the deals listed below by clicking on the links on this site as all purchases at Amazon originating from RopeofSilicon.com help benefit the site. Happy shopping!

I wish they had some Criterion Blu ray's on sale.

    • Ryan Colson

I believe A did 19.99 criterion all week last BFW and may do it again as many films will be at locked low prices Sun to Sat.
      As far as definitely:
Amazon did Kiss of Death & Rules of the Game as Lightning Deals for 17 or so the last two days and online and physical Barnes & Noble are doing half off all month

Oh yeah, thanks for last weeks heads up on that. Went down to my local store and got The Killing (with The Killer's Kiss and a ton of special features) for only $15.

I loved The Killing. In a dark sort of way. Incredibly well done.

Yeah, i's awesome. I'm pretty excited to see the killers kiss, since I'm curious on how kubrick did on his first try.

Red Dawn / Act of Valor
This is definitely on the top of Brad's list of DVDs to buy.

Thanks, Brad. I'm sure this is helpful to many. I don't see a single thing on sale that I don't already own, or could see streaming if I wanted to. On the plus side, Amazon warehouses will have a lot less crap by this time next week.

I probably have to wait until next year for the breaking bad complete series
