$22.99 is tempting for that Planet of the Apes boxset... Plus, the Hitchock Blu-Ray Set dropped down to $150 at 50% off... Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Another good deal I found, not sure if it's just today or all week, is a $10 Kubrick blu-ray box featuring 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, and The Shining.
Can't go wrong with Kubrick. Those three plus Eyes Wide Shut are his best films, IMHO.
Brad, would you recommend buying the Hitchcock collection while its at that price?
I think I will direct you to my thoughts on this collection here and some alternatives I offer. It's a great collection of films, but it is still expensive. However, if you're a Hitchcock fan you will likely get endless enjoyment out of it.
Thanks for the advice and I've decided I will get it, I haven't seen all of the films in the collection but the ones I've seen I like a lot and it would be cool to get to watch some of them on christmas with my family.
Collateral for $5.99. Never seen it, but I know you love it Brad; worth it?
Collateral is a steal at $6, especially on Blu-Ray. I already own it on DVD and am considering purchasing it just for the upgrade. I'd highly recommend it.
Brad, what are those two movie-related books you mentioned on the podcast a few months back? Those sounded interesting and I forgot to jot them down.
