Alfonso Cuaron Raids the Criterion Closet

Like two kids in a candy store

After premiering Gravity in Telluride Alfonso Cuaron, along with Pawel Pawlikowski (Ida), stopped by the Criterion Collection offices in New York before heading up to Toronto and while there they raided the DVD closet.

It's a little hard to hear what they have to say at times since they are talking to each other rather than to the camera, but watching the video is like watching two kids in a candy store and probably exactly how I would react if given the chance.

Watch the video below.

As many expected, it looks like now that Gravity has finally wrapped, Cuaron has some free time, we will finally get that long-promised Y tu Mama Tambien blu-ray early next year from Criterion!

I love watching these little features from Criterion. They were the first to help me truly appreciate all the wonders of DVD and special features. My first was RoboCop...I wonder what my last will be?
