The Actual New 'Halloween' Trailer
COMMENTS
Sorry for any confusion...
A couple days ago I posted an article as I thought I had added the new trailer for Rob Zombie's Halloween because the Beta Tape I received said "HALLOWEEN" TRAILER #1. Normally if they are a teaser trailer they will say "TEASER TRAILER", you know, logic… However, that proved to be the teaser trailer that had been out for months, but now Yahoo! has once again gotten their grubby little hands on the new trailer that was featured at Comic Con.
To check out the trailer in flash or high-definition QuickTime click here.
Halloween hits theaters on August 31.

This definitely looks promising. I have great respect for directors who shake things up with remakes, and I've also come to realize that Malcolm McDowell is awesome in just about everything he's in.
I am surprised they got it past the MPAA with that scene showing Michael dragging the body down the bloody hallway. However, it does look promising as long as Zombie stuck with scares and didn't push the gore envelope in hopes of grossing people out only.
Yeah, this is definitely the type of movie that would dictate a "less is more" approach.
I know that this probably isn't the best comparison to make, but I watched 28 Days Later for the first time in years last night, and while very little of the mayhem is shown on camera, I still found it pretty scary. I think if Rob Zombie takes that kind of approach, it could definitely be one of the better horror movies in recent memory.
The MPAA confuses me too, Brad.
