First Looks at 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'
Unfortunately no blood... or vampires

You may want to click here for a larger look at the image above as it is one of two of the first images from Wanted director Timur Mekmambetov's adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which is set to hit theaters on June 22, 2012.
The story re-imagines Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) as an axe-throwing, highly trained vampire assassin, promising to give new context to real historical events such as the Civil War and Lincoln's ascension to the White House. It begins with his mother's murder when he was still a young boy and his vow of revenge.
Along with Walker, the film stars Anthony Mackie, Dominic Cooper, Robin McLeavy, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell.
