9/11 DVD Coming in September?
No surprise here as USA Today is reporting that the DVD release of Michael Moore's box-office phenom Fahrenheit 9/11 will be hitting shelves this September.
USA Today reports "We want to get it out before the (presidential) election," says Michael Moore, Oscar-winning director of Bowling for Columbine and author of best-selling books Stupid White Men and Dude, Where's My Country? "We hope the film and DVD will have a significant role in removing Bush" from office.
The White House has declared Fahrenheit 9/11's premise "outrageously false."
The DVD will include footage and Moore commentary not in the 120-minute theatrical release. Among scenes being considered: additional footage of U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and man-in-the-street interviews Moore commissioned in 30 countries in which participants are asked what they love — and hate — about the USA.
Once we have an official release date and DVD details we will let you know.
