I remember seeing the first National Treasure in theaters and not liking it all that much. It wasn't until I saw it again on DVD that I realized this was right there with the Mummy films. These are films that aren't really all that good, but the brainless action that is offered up can be highly satisfying when you don't want to think at all, and I am hoping the sequel, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, does the same thing, because this time I will be ready for it.

As for this article, we have added 5 new clips from the film for your viewing pleasure. You can check out all of them by clicking on any of the links below. National Treasure: Book of Secrets is set to hit theaters on Friday, December 21, 2007, for more information, pics and cast information click here.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer told MTV, "It's another little treasure hunt, and this time it involves [Abe] Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth and 18 pages which are actually missing from [Booth's] diary." Teasing the plot further, Bruckheimer posed the central question of the sequel. "What was in those 18 pages?"
