54-Year-Old Bruce Willis Proves You're Never Too Old To Kick Ass
Then again, Stallone sort of proved that already
I enjoyed Live Free or Die Hard and still think Bruce Willis has "it" when it comes to the ability to be a charismatic action star and it appears he isn't ready to hang up his weapons just yet as Steven Zeitchik and Borys Kit at Risky Biz Blog report the 54-year-old actor is currently eying a trio of action features to star in.
Here's the breakdown:
- Inventory: In this thriller for NuImage/Millenium, Willis would play a detective on the trail of a murderer.
- Red: Summit Entertainment is handling this feature in which Willis would portray a former black-ops agent who has gone into retirement but is forced back into action when a high-tech assassin comes a-callin' to threaten him and his girlfriend. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing, and Erich and Jon Hoeber are writing the screenplay, which is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic.
- Scarpa: There seems to be no confidence in Willis taking this one, but for the sake of conversation I'll detail it. Scarpa is described as a mob biopic that would reteam Willis with his Tears of the Sun helmer, Antoine Fuqua. The film follows the story of about Greg Scarpa, an FBI informant who worked deeply undercover in New York’s Columbo family.
Of course, he is expected to star in A Couple of Dicks with Tracey Morgan for Kevin Smith next. Warner Bros. is distributing that flick for a January 29, 2010 release telling the story of a pair of cops who track down a stolen baseball card, rescue a Mexican beauty and must deal with gangsters and laundered drug money.
Other than that, Zeitchik and Kit still bring up the possibility of Willis playing Adam "Kane" Marcus in the Kane and Lynch adaptation of the popular Eidos videogame, a story that was first reported back in June 2008 when Billy Bob Thornton's name was being tossed around as potentially taking the role of Lynch. Also, I can't help but wonder if there is any potential for a Die Hard 5.
He will next be seen in Surrogates for Touchstone Pictures on September 25.

I would watch any of those . Although it seems like making inventory for Nuimage/Millenium films could be a bad move considering most of there movies are incredibly bad really very bad
