I am in the camp that says Russell Crowe is an amazing actor. He threw a phone at someone, so what? I am also in the camp that loved Cinderella Man and is baffled that it didn't do better at the box-office. All that said, I am hoping that Russell Crowe's latest film will fare better than Cinderella Man did, and why not? He is back with Gladiator buddy Ridley Scott as he directs him in A Good Year due out this November.
The film centers on London-based Investment expert Max Skinner (Crowe) as he moves to Provence to sell a small vineyard he has inherited from his late uncle. As Max reluctantly settles into what ultimately becomes an intoxicating new chapter in his life, he encounters a beautiful California woman who also lays claim to the property.
