Director: Ruben Fleischer
Writers: Written by Will Beall
Cast: Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Emma Stone, Anthony Mackie, Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Peña, Robert Patrick, Mireille Enos

Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and—if he has his way—every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It's enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop...except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen's world apart. "Gangster Squad" is a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD's efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time.

"Gravity" is easily the one I'm looking forward to the most. I'm a huge "Children of Men" fan and was devestated when this one was delayed to 2013.

Can't agree more. It has a TBA sign next to the title. I'm just praying that it won't be postponed until 2014.

It sounds similar to Angel and Airwaves' LOVE, except there is more than one person....

I'm actually ALSO looking forward to it. I have hope in this movie, because we need a good period, noir style cop movie, and this could very well be it.

I'm curious to see what Denis Villeneuve does with an A-list cast. Although I'm a little skeptical that he has no hand in its script and the dude who does only has Contraband to his name.
